What superpower would you have and why?
Time travel with an invisibility cloak so I could go back and buy real estate, art, etc. and not be burned at the stake for my modern ways ‘cause I’d disappear into my cloak.

In one sentence what is unique about your work?
When I work, creativity and imagination are in full control so it's always one hell of a ride!
Why do you do what you do?
I live to create and entertain. I honestly can't think of any other career that really feels as natural as being in the entertainment business does. Through all of the experiences in my life - the good, bad and otherwise - I know that one of the reasons things happen as they do is to allow me to use those experiences to be the most aware, open and unafraid in my acting. In the end, I do it because it truly cannot be avoided.
What inspires you?
Going to the movie theater inspires me the most. that is my earliest memory of wanting to become an actor. Now I couldn't tell you what I was watching, because I certainly don't remember. However, I do remember leaving the theater feeling like I was transported to another world for those couple of hours. Even now as an adult, going to the movies still gives me chills.
Describe your personal style.
I love clothes. So much! Our style is our primary introduction when we see people, especially meeting someone for the first time. So my style really just depends on how I'd like to be perceived that day. I'd say it ranges from slightly upscale to modern casual with one piece, be it the shoes or another accessory being the star of that particular outfit that day.
Your ultimate must-have.
My gaming systems. Mainly my Playstation 4. Oh gosh, it's like the ultimate immersive relaxing experience. #Overwatch. That and cheese! Mmmmm!
What superpower would you have and why?
Okay, first of all I'm a huge geek. I'm obsessed with Batman and the X-Men. So I'd have to say the ability to shape shift into anything by just looking at someone or something. Like Mystique. Just imagine all the things you could do, places you could go and people you could meet by walking in someone else's shoes at will.
What is next for you?
Currently slated for this year I have a film I'm starring in that shoots on the east coast that I’m very excited for. That along with my other creative endeavors such as my board game, Horror High, are really looking promising.

It all started when as a child in this industry, I wanted to make people laugh or to inspire and encourage them, as myself I was and still, I am inspired by other people, films, songs, art, etc. When it's possible and appropriate I aim to promote health, happiness, laughter, joy, love, self-discovery and success in life.

The power of love and real life stories that led to self-discovery, self-improvement, solutions and joy.

To begin with, I believe that we should dress up every day and not only for a costume party or Halloween if we feel like it! My style really depends on my mood, and to be realistic on my schedule...I love my casual moments and my dressy moments equally.

What is next for you?

I am currently directing "My People: Greek by birth, Jews by Blood" my first feature documentary on the story of the Jews of Greece during WW2. Where were you born?
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. At the age of 16 I won a scholarship to study The International Baccalaureate in Swaziland (Southern Africa). Once I graduated, I decided to travel along the African East Coast for about 6 months starting in Egypt all the way down to Cape Town. After that, I flew to England to audition for East 15 Acting School in London to study Contemporary Theatre. I was accepted into the course and 4 years later graduated with a BA in Contemporary Theatre. During my time in London, I was invited by The Song of a Goat Theatre Company to Poland (Warsaw) for a 6 week physical theatre intensive workshop based on Grotowski´s techniques. Back in London, I (together with 2 other friends) founded VIP Theatre Company from which our main show "Caviar & Chips" emerged. It was a 3 women comedy play that travelled all around Europe, including "The Edinburgh Fringe Festival", "The first English speaking theatre in Brugges" and several London venues. In 2010 I moved to Mexico City, where not only did I continue working in theatre but I also launched my career in TV and Film. To date I've participated in numerous movies in leading roles and have been a series regular in my 3 most recent TV shows.

I dig deep into the psychology of a character making it my own, until I understand her, root for her, although I as a person may not agree or empathize with her at all.
Why do you do what you do?
Because telling stories is the most powerful way I’ve found to connect to the world and to myself.
What inspires you?
Everyone´s call of duty; when what you do grows to be greater than yourself. Whether you are an actor, a writer, a Red Cross volunteer, a painter, a philosopher or a physicist I´m inspired when people are clearly an instrument from which a greater good develops, flourishes and ripples out.

What superpower would you have and why?
To remove dictators from a position of power. And by dictator I mean anyone who instead of serving their country takes advantage of their position to rip a country´s social and economic tissue apart.
What is next for you?
I´m currently filming "Paramédicos" Season 3 which will be followed by the world premiere of "How to get rid of your douchebag" on October 10th. I will also be shooting Season 2 of the Netflix Original "Ingobernable" at the end of this year.

People. Good hearted people.
Describe your personal style. As an actor I usually do drama but I love comedy and odd comedy at that. I have not been limited by my look and that's rare in Hollywood.

What superpower would you have and why?
I would be a cute dog for a day. They have the life.
What is next for you?
I just wrapped a movie called: The Summoning. It's a thriller I did alongside Eric Roberts based on real life events. It comes out this January; I'm very excited about this one.

I shed light on mostly marginalized, often stigmatized, women entertainers, focusing on the early 20th century in America.
Why do you do what you do?
Because I am passionate about sharing stories about incredible, interesting people the world has forgotten or never really knew. History is everything. A lot of these performers were never given their due when they were alive and its time we re-evaluate the terms we apply to them and their professions and the automatic assumption people make when they hear "burlesque" "Stripper" "freaks" "circus" "animal trainers".
What inspires you?
Bold, colorful people who dance to the rhythm of their own song.

What is next for you?
My film on the world's first female tiger trainer Mabel Stark. She started in the early 1900s and worked until 1960s. There wasn't an inch of her body that was not scarred by her beloved tigers. “Mabel, Mabel, Tiger Trainer” will premier in February. www.MabelStarkMovie.com - I fell in love with Mabel and heavily researched her. This is a true story of love, betrayal, bravery. And I'm in the process of writing two books, one burlesque related, and if that's not enough shooting a sizzle reel for my possible next documentary.
