The artist showed how to make a mask from Dior socks
All you need is scissors and socks. And maybe, just maybe you have the pair of Dior socks lying around at home?
Artist Daniel Arsham made a face mask from socks. All that was needed was scissors and a Dior Oblique sock with the logo of the fashion house. Cut a rectangle from the top of the sock, then fold it in half in length, and cut out squares on the sides, leaving half a centimeter on the top side. They will form adjacent semicircular handles that will hold the mask.
Arsham has collaborated with Dior more than once. Together with Kim Jones, the creative director of the menswear line, he launched the Nike Air Jordan sneakers with the Dior logo, the Dior Saddle bag carved in white stone, and also designed the display space.
Video tutorials with mask socks flooded YouTube and TikTok, with Nike socks being the most popular. While quarantine measures are gradually weakening, the mask remains mandatory for stay in public places. Take inspiration from Daniel's example and use your favorite socks to create a mask.
