Vogue World 2026: Milano

Milan just hosted its first ever Vogue World taking over the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The event celebrated Italian craftsmanship and fashion history in an era of rapidly advancing technology and it delivered. Gigi Hadid opened the night in a hand stitched patchwork Valentino gown by Alessandro Michele, Vittoria Ceretti walked in embroidedred Valentinoa by Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Jennifer Lopez in Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda. The whole theme was "Where The Future is Made by the Hand," and every look made that argument ina different way.

Then Versace brought the opo art energy, Amelia Gray, Imaan Hammam, and Ida Heiner walked in prints pulled straight from Gianni Versace's own 1991 Warhol inspired collection, with Cardi B joining them on the runway. Alex Consani closed things out in a pink recycled fiberglass look from Bottega Veneta. Robots showed up as well.

The archive work is what made this event memorable. These houses aren't just making new clothes, they're putting their own history back on a body and making it feel current. Alicia Keys closed the night singing "I Feel Love."
