NYFW kicked off with Zoolander 2 premier filled with hotties and bodies all over. Male model Derek Zoolander himself (Ben Stiller) accompanied by Hansel (Owen Wilson), designer Mugatu (Will Ferrell), and Penelope Cruz guests of honor, along with some of the well known models like Gigi Hadid and VS model Stella Maxwell. Lady Gaga performed the national anthemat the Super Bowl 50 on Sunday. She took the filed in a red-squined suit and custom made heels by Gucci's brand’s creative designer, Alessandro Michele. She gave her viewers a peek on the shoes posting a photo to her instagram account prior to her appearance at the Super Bowl. Gaga said:
Her red and sprakling eye shadows matched her suit. Although midway through the performance, Gagastarted to tear up, but she didn’t let that stop her from delivering a beautiful rendition of the anthem. Nailed it!

DiCaprio to play Putin - Da! Leo! Da!
Rumor has it Leonardo DiCaprio agreed to play the role of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the film under the working title, better believe it, "Putin" - it will be a political thriller with elements of biography.
The script is now in its final version. Filming is scheduled to start in the Spring of 2016. The premier is scheduled for next year. The film's producer is Mark Damon! The director's name has not been disclosed.

Coldplay featuring Beyonce - Hymn For The Weekend
Returning with almost a 19 million view count, “Hymn For The Weekend”, has sure become a hot topic into today’s entertainment. Performed by Coldplay and featuring Beyonce, this music video is shot on the streets of India during the Holi (Color Festival). Blended with simple piano keys, jingles, and Beyonce’s voice, this song, has sure lived up to Coldplay’s record count of singles. The major issue many people are having with this music video is the question of appropriation. With a mixed combination of answers ranging from Yes and No, it is hard to tell if this music video is getting its view count based on the beautiful cinematography and music, or the raging issue of appropriation. Whether you come up with your own conclusion, or follow the stream of society’s views, we can’t deny that this song will sound great when Coldplay performs it live with Beyonce at the Super Bowl.

Marriage on the verge of collapse, but the husband and wife do not realize it or simply don't want to. Angelina Jolie's latestfilm is not pleasing the audience and the critics - "Côte d'Azur" criticized it for simple, with excessive and unnecessary beauty and helpless plot.
Dancer Vanessa and her husband, writer Ronald, rent a room with a view at Cote d'Azur. Room is filled with sun rays, they are surrounded by silence of expensive furniture, a spouse swallows the pills, her husband is sleeping restlessly, thinking about the future book. There is a lot of untold and false in this relationship, the myth of the perfect pair is broken. But we seem to know everything in advance as to what will happen next in the "Cote d'Azur". But of course even if Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will stroke the cat for two hours in a row we will all want to buy a ticket. It has always worked with main Hollywood couples.

We've been waiting, and waiting, and somehow the queen managed to surprise us anyway. You guessed it. Rihanna finally released her much anticipated album, Anti. Of course you can only hear these 13 (I'm sure life changing) songs exclusively on Tidal, the music site ran by Jay-Z, and partially owned by @badgalriri herself. Since this is Rihanna's first album release since 2012, I'm sure our internet savvy friends will find a way to leak us the tracks without having to go through tidal. Fingers crossed.

Airing on Sundays on BBC, War and Peace has moved through the literary world, into entertainment. Based on the well-known novel by Leo Tolstoy, we follow five aristocratic families during the French invasion of Russia. Embedded with historical and fictional drama, we get a tension filled love triangle between Natasha Rostova (Lily James), Pierre Bezukhov (Paul Dano), and Andrei Bolkonsky (James Norton). Whether obsessed with the British cast, or the beautiful ball gowns, this mini-series will surely place you into an era where backstabbing really was literal.

The Shannara Chronicles
This year is starting off with a new fresh outlook, and a whole new set of actors to pick as our heart throbs. New to MTV, The Shannara Chronicles, has aired its first couple of episodes, presenting post-apocalyptic fantasy, action, unchangeable destinies, and love triangles. Lead by Austin Butler AKA Vanessa Hudgens boyfriend, and Poppy Drayton, this duo has come into the television scene with a strong chemistry to parallel their character’s strong willed selves as they battle evil to protect the lands. Unlike most fantasy shows, The Shannara Chronicles battle with breaking the stereotypical hero and damsel in distress concept. We not only get to see a realistic and gullible male lead, but we get to relate and look up to a strong and independent female lead. Whether you watch the show for the constant drama, or even for the shameless action that we all sort of love, the cast and wardrobe itself is good enough reason to tune in on Tuesday nights.
