Manolo Blahnik x Birkenstock
Something regal is coming from Manolo Blahnik. The designer has teamed up with Birkenstock to create a crystallised capsule of the classic German sandal. It’s the epitome of fashion meets function.
“Birkenstocks have been in my wardrobe since the very beginning (of time!!) I have loved and worn mine for many years. I am thrilled that we have been able to collaborate, fusing the Manolo Blahnik aesthetic with the everyday comfort of Birkenstocks is simply wonderful!” said the eponymous shoe designer.
The first release drops March 24 on 1774.com, manoloblahnik.com as well as Manolo Blahnik retail locations and selected retailers worldwide. It doesn’t end there, stay tuned, because a second drop of styles will also be arriving come June.
Jil Sander x Birkenstock Collaboration

Lucie and Luke Meier, creative directors of Jil Sander for 4 years in a row and collaborating with Birkenstock. The collaboration is Jil Sander’s offering for more urban, work-appropriate runway clothes. The husband and wife designers are nature lovers, that explains the editorial shot in nature.
