Why do you do what you do?
My job combines art, fashion, and technology. I love that I can utilize a skill and have it reflect a company's aesthetic. Not to mention working in my field leaves room for a lot of different projects in the fashion and graphic design world. There's a lot of collaborating and diversity in my work.
What inspires you?
Anything and everything, but I'm particularly interested in the beauty industry as of late. I've been drawing fashion figures for as long as I can remember, it's nice to work on close up illustrations depicting different beauty looks and focusing on the different features of the face and hair. You can really get into creating a person and defining things like their eye shape, their lips, and their unique characteristics. It's like matching a person to the theme of the brand. It's fun!
Describe your personal style.
Feminine and simple-sexy. Something that embraces femininity, but isn't exactly "girly". I like little black dresses and fitted tops. I'm really loving off-the-shoulder right now. Most of my clothing items are just flat color. A pop of lace or some delicate jewelry is enough to be eye-catching. I love Self-portrait for the brand's very modern, but delicate, take on lace.
Your ultimate must-have.
