"Bridgerton" - Multi Racial Love Affair Tops Netflix List

Just imagine Pride & Prejudice marries the Gossip Girl and have a baby. ‘Bridgerton’ is an immediate Netflix hit by producer Shonda Rhimes which has 63 million households watching and enjoying the multi-racial romance. Based on Julia Quinn’s novels about competitive world of Regency London High society when debutantes are presented at court.

The series follows Daphne Bridgerton the eldest daughter in a powerful family, while she searches for true love in a diverse marriage market. If you are a big period movie watcher then this will top your list. The casting is a perfection with sexy, intelligent and very handsome Rege'-Jean Page, Duke of Hastings (Simon Basset) and the gorgeous, innocent and sensual Phoebe Dynevor ( Daphne Bridgerton).

And oh, the clever music. This show will make you guessing what the tune is.

And yes, for those who have issue with there being a diverse cast, perhaps look in the mirror and ask yourself why you really feel that threatened or peeved by a fictional drama re-imagined in a world where by race everyone is equal.
