For Balenciaga's haute couture 2021 collection Demna Gvasalia honored Cristobal Balenciaga's love for hats. To do that he worked with Irish award-winning Haute Couture milliner Philip Treacy. Treacy's eye-catching hats have been worn by celebrites like Dutchess of Cornwell, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Sarah Jessica Parker and many more.

In 1991, aged 23, Treacy got his "big break" when asked by Karl Lagerfeld to come to the Chanel showrooms in Paris for what was to be the start of a long-term working relationship. In this collection Gvasalia kept in mind the young audience but maintained Cristobal Balenciaga's extravagance.

Zurich-based fashion brand Vetements led by brothers Demna and Guram Gvasalia announced new "secret project" by Vetements with the creation of new [instagram ][1]account. Teaser video featured on the new instagram account is showing big cities, scan codes, new machinery, new reality. Accordiing to fashion source the new, as-yet-unnamed brand will take its inspiration from traditional menswear and sartorial tailoring, but will cater to all genders.
