A Major Guo Pei Exhibition that was planned for 2022 at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco is finally here and opens for public on Apr 16, 2022.
Guo Pei: Couture Fantasy celebrates the extraordinary designs of Guo Pei—hailed as China's first couturier—and includes more than 80 works from the past two decades highlighting her most important collections shown on Beijing and Paris runways. It’s a project championed by the Fine Arts Museums’ director and CEO Thomas P. Campbell. “I am very interested in designers that blur the lines between fashion and art. Guo Pei’s creations are like artistic sculptural statements that draw inspiration from European architecture and reflect Chinese export art, and we were just delighted at the synergies in exhibiting her work in the neoclassical building at the Legion of Honor with its decorative arts collection,” he shared with Vogue back in 2021.

Her unique artistic direction in the world of fashion is recognized globally and she subsequently made a debut at the Paris Haute Couture in January 2016.

2021 marks the 50th anniversary of one of the world's most renowned luxury fashion house and for its anniversary Manolo Blahnik opens a virtual museum for it's fans on November 18th. It will be accessable worldwide.
Called "Manolo Blahnik: A New Way of Walking," this virtual exhibit will showcase the archives of the fashion house, which includes creations for Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York, Miranda Hobbes and Samantha Jones, as the stars of the hit series, "Sex and the City." This interactive experience will immerse the public in the world of Manolo Blahnik through sketches, films, photographs and previously unseen models.
