My Wardrobe HQ and Burberry Collaborate On Resale And Rental

Resale and rental market is not slowing down. Burberry is entering the circular fashion movement and is partnering with My Wardrobe HW to launch the British heritage brand’s first womenswear rental and resale offering in the UK. Pieces featured will be those donated by customers.

The collab has launched today. The rental edit is available online via My Wardrobe HQ's website.Weekly rental prices will range from 41-170 pounds.

Bella Hadid Returns To Victoria's Secret

Balla Hadid is starring in the 2021 holiday campaign and was named its latest VS Collective Member for the newly rebranded lingerie giant. "What magnetized me to coming back was them coming to me and really proving to me that, behind the scenes, Victoria's Secret has changed so drastically," Hadid said in a new interview with Marie Claire. "There was a type of way that, I think, a lot of us women who used to work with Victoria's Secret felt. And now, six of the seven [VS] board members are all female. And there's new photoshoot protocols that we have. So a lot has changed.

Back in 2018 Ed Razek, an American businessperson known for his former role as the Chief Marketing Officer for L Brands where he developed the Victoria's Secret Angels and the company's annual fashion show, commented "forget the panties" during Bella's fitting and complimented her breasts. Although Razek denies it, it took Bella a long time to accept the call from the company. "Even having that conversation was very complicated for me because of the way that I had felt in the past," she told Marie Claire. "But they came to me with a big presentation about everything that they've changed, the way that they're moving forward with not only body diversity, but diversity of women in general."

Travis Scott collaboration sneaker with Nike Inc. is delaying after what happened at the musician’s Astroworld Festival which left 10 people dead. The news was reported by Bloomberg.

“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack,” Nike said in an email to users of its SNKRS app on Monday.

Don't expect it in December release as it was originally planned. Scott is not the favorite person on social media. The singer is being blamed for not handling it right. Typically, his collaboration with Nike sells out quickly, but given the circumstances, Nike is cautiously or strategically delaying.

“Adele One Night Only,” took place on Sunday for a two-hour CBS special featuring a private concert by the British singer. The concert was recorded at the Griffith Observatory last month — and a separate interview with Oprah took place as well.

Adele opened the performance with “Hello,” naturally, in front of a private audience of A-listers which included Melissa McCarthy, Ellen DeGeneres, Tyler Perry, James Corden, Gabrielle Union, Gordon Ramsey, Dwyane Wade and Lizzo. Adele sang from atop of the steps of Griffith observatory, behind her the Hollywood sign. She wore a sleek black dress and looked exceptional. This was singer's first television interview for her fourth album "30" which arrives Friday.

Adele has been on a six-year hiatus during which she had a son, lost 100 pounds, married and divorced.

Japan’s Princess Mako Chooses Love Over Royal Status

When love really matters

Japanese Princess Mako, the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko, married a commoner and lost her royal status Tuesday in a union that has split public opinion after a three-year delay caused by a financial dispute involving her new mother-in-law.

The marriage document for Mako and Kei Komuro was submitted by a palace official Tuesday morning and is now official, the Imperial Household Agency said.

No longer a royal, Mako has now taken the surname of her husband and become Mako Komuro — the first time she has had a family name. In Japan's imperial family, only male members are given household names, while female members only have titles and must leave if they marry commoners.

This example of prewar-era paternalism, still kept alive by the imperial family, is also reflected in Japanese gender policies that many criticize as outdated, including a law that requires married couples to use only one surname, almost always the husband's

Celine Dion Postpones Las Vegas and Fall/ Winter Concerts Due to Health Issues

The health is always a priority. French Canadian chanteuse Celine Dion postpones her Las Vegas residency/work due to a medical condition. Dion is experiencing muscle spasms which prevent her from rehearsing and performing. She released a letter to her fans on her website.

“I’m heartbroken by this,” said Dion in the statement. “My team and I have been working on our new show for the past eight months, and to not be able to open this November saddens me beyond words. My partners at Resorts World Las Vegas and AEG have been working around the clock to get this brand-new state-of-the-art theatre ready, and it’s absolutely beautiful. I feel so bad that I’m letting them down, and I’m especially sorry for disappointing all the fans who’ve been making their plans to come to Las Vegas. Now, I have to focus on getting better… I want to get through this as soon as I can.”

The “Courage World Tour” is still scheduled to resume beginning March 9, 2022.

First US Store For Schiaparelli

A prestigious American department store Bergdorf Goodman, on New York's Fifth Avenue will offer Schiaparelli's ready-to-wear collection. The forth floor of the store will offer suits, denim parkas with bejeweled buttons, knitwear, coats and capes, dresses that transform into cocktail looks, accessories and leather goods. There will also be a line of evening gowns inspired by the brand's haute couture collection and designed exclusively for the store.

“Alber had long dreamt of uniting his wider fashion family for a new, modern iteration of its own. This year, with the help of all those who loved him, AZ Factory will bring Alber’s biggest dream to life.”

“Love Brings Love” is inspired by the Théâtre de la Mode, a 1945 exhibition in Paris which features more than 60 couturiers.

Each of the participating designers and houses presented one look, creation inspired by Elbaz’s legacy or a new take on an iconic silhouette. The list of designers included Raf Simons, Virgil Abloh, Rei Kawakubo, Demna Gvasalia and Kim Jones.
